The entire Doctor Bark collection is fully machine washable at 200°F compared to only being able to wash the cover(usually on cold settings) like most dog beddings. At this temperature(and certainly your washing machine's hottest settings), all bacteria, parasites, sebum, dirt, and grime are effectively washed out; leaving your Doctor Bark Dog product like new and odor-free.
